  • Yes it has. Read this.

A lady goes on vacation to Jamaica. Upon arriving, she

meets a black man, and after a night of passionate love

making she asks him, “What is your name?”

“I can’t tell you,” the black man says.

Every night they meet and every night she asks him

again what his name is and he always responds the

    same, he can’t tell her.

On her last night there she asks again, “Can you

    please tell me your name?”

“I can’t tell you my name because you will laugh at

me.” says the blackman. “There is no reason for me to laugh at you,” the lady says.

“Fine, my name is Snow!” the black man replies.

And the lady bursts into laughter, and the blackman gets mad and says,” I knew you would make fun of it”.

The lady replied, “I’m not making fun of your name. I’m thinking of my husband who won’t believe me when I tell him that I had 10 inches of Snow every day in Jamaica!”

  • Yes. Although It doesn’t ‘snow’ in Jamaica the way it would in new york as a general rule, there has been snow (precipitation).

High up in the blue mountains (7,000ft), it regularly gets so cold during the winter that you can set Jello outdoors. If you have harsher weather conditions during these times of the year, you can have very light snow falling. Typically the snow melts as it touches your skin.

There has also been reports of hail in some parts of Jamaica, with ice falling in large enough balls to seriously damage cars and agriculture. There was such an incident in portmore, st. catherine within the last few years. Now imagine, if portmore is at sea level and can see ice, what happens in the blue mountains (which is AT LEAST 14 degrees cooler at all times)?

  • Well I’ve heard it does on blue mountain peak but technically Jamaica is in the tropics which means it doesn’t snow here…ever

  • There could be a few snow flakes up in the mountain range but it does not settle and never reaches down to the mainland or beach. So yes there could be but actually no.

  • No

    Never!

  • Absolutely not…it doesn’t get cold enough.

  • err. . . no
