find the number of

a) atoms in one molecule of trinitrotoluene (TNT), CH3C6H2(NO2)3

b) atoms in 1.04×10−3 CH3(CH2)4CH2OH

c) F atoms in 12.30 moles of C2HBrClF3

I tried doing B by using avagadro’s constant but im not getting the right answer.

    7 atoms C + 5 atoms H + 3 atoms N + 6 atoms O = 21 atoms

    b)

    (1.04 × 10^−3 mol) × (6.023 × 10^23 molecules/mol) × (21 atoms/molecule) =

    1.32 × 10^22 atoms

    c) (12.30 moles) × (6.023 × 10^23 molecules/mole) × (3 atoms F/molecule) =

    2.222 × 10^25 atoms F
