This is how you use a VAT calculator: It’s as simple as entering your gross sum, selecting whether you want to include VAT, then pressing the “Calculate” or Enter button to get the VAT figure.
The default setting for the online VAT calculator is to calculate VAT in the United Kingdom.

How to calculate VAT

In order to calculate the elimination of VAT from gross total, the formula is as follows: It is necessary to divide gross revenue by 1 + the VAT percentage (for example, 15% would be divided by 1.15), then deduct the gross revenue and multiply by -1 before rounding to the nearest value to arrive at VAT (including eurocents). Since you can see the VAT figure even before you perform the final two processes, you are not need to perform them.
In this case, subtracting VAT from the total:
It’s a piece of cake. For example, if VAT is 15%, multiply the net amount by 1.15 to get the gross amount (i.e. multiply by 1.15 if VAT is 15%). The VAT value can also be calculated by multiplying the VAT percentage by the VAT amount.
